Our Board

The Central West CMA is directed by a Board that is appointed by and reports directly to the Minister for Primary Industries. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction and policy of the CMA and ensuring that it delivers on its catchment action plan and other strategic objectives that will allow it to support the development of vibrant communities and healthy landscapes.

The Board has Committees for:
• Finance, Risk and Audit
• Corporate Partnerships

The Board can have up to seven members who cover a diverse range of skills and expertise. They share a strong commitment to the health and future of the catchment. The Board meets six times a year at different towns in the catchment. This helps them understand local issues and gives them a chance to meet community members and appreciate their natural resource management concerns.
