Central West CMA Incentives
Each year, the Central West CMA offers a range of financial incentives and training programs for landholders throughout the Central West CMA Catchment area. Most of the incentives are targeted to protect natural resource assets or address specific natural resource management (NRM) issues identified within the CMA’s Catchment Action Plan (CAP). Financial incentives and NRM training activities are an important component in building landscape resilience, increasing farm profitability, and expanding landholder knowledge.
The Central West CMA receives funding from both the Federal and State governments to achieve specific NRM outcomes e.g. Federal Government’s ‘Caring for Our Country’ program. Each incentive program includes a range of projects with varying requirements for eligibility.
Information Sheets with Project Standards specify who is eligible to apply for incentives. Interested landholders should read the relevant ‘Information Sheet’ and if eligible they are encouraged to complete and return an ‘Expression of Interest’ EOI as soon as possible.

Farm Planning
Farm plans not only provide a valuable planning tool for your farm but may also help you to get a loan through Rural Assistance Authority or a financial institution. Farm Plans are also a compulsory prerequisite when accessing other Central West CMA financial incentives for onground works.
